How to Have Eternal Life in Heaven<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The following outline explains how you can be brought into a right relationship with God and have eternal life in Heaven:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Understand that based upon God\u2019s Word, a person can absolutely know for sure if he or she has eternal life and is going to Heaven<\/strong>
    \n1 John 5:12, 13 \u2013<\/em> \u201cHe that hath the Son hath life;\u00a0and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Admit that you are a sinner<\/strong>
      \nRomans 3:23 \u2013 \u201cFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Because of your sin you are separated from God and facing eternal punishment
      \nRomans 6:23a \u2013 \u201cFor the wages of sin is death\u201d
      \nRevelation 20:14 \u2013 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Understand that you cannot earn God\u2019s forgiveness by being good<\/strong>
        \nEphesians 2:8, 9\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u201cFor by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:\u00a0it is the gift of God:\u00a0Not of works, lest any man should boast.\u201d
        \nJames 2:10\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFor whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one\u00a0point, he is guilty of all.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Eternal life is only through Jesus Christ<\/strong>
          \nRomans 6:23\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cFor the wages of sin\u00a0is death; but the gift of God\u00a0is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.\u201d
          \nJohn 14:6\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cJesus saith unto him,\u00a0I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin, was buried\u00a0\u00a0and that He arose again<\/strong>
            \nJohn 3:16-18, 36\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.\u00a0 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.\u201d<\/em>
            \n Romans 5:8\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.\u201d<\/em>
            \n 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cFor I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior<\/strong>
              \nJohn 1:11, 12\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cHe came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,\u00a0even to them that believe on his name:\u201d<\/em>
              \n Romans 10:9, 10\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 \u201cThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Right Now, where you are, you can receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. \u00a0Are you willing to repent of your sin and believe on\u00a0Jesus and His work on the cross for your forgiveness?<\/p>\n

                \n
              • Tell God you believe in His Son Jesus and that you believe He died for you and rose again.<\/li>\n
              • Tell God you are willing to turn from your sin and that you are personally receiving His gift of eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ.
                \n\u201cFor whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.\u201d\u00a0 – Romans 10:13<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
