Scripture:<\/strong> Mark 9:17-27<\/p>\n

Reassurances<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consider Jesus (Matthew 5:17-18)
\n-He testified to the truth of Scripture
\n-His resurrection from the dead<\/p>\n

Saturate yourself with the Word of God
\n-Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17
\n-Scripture memory<\/p>\n

Fellowship with other believers<\/p>\n

Contemplate the following:<\/p>\n

The Existence of God
\n-Allow creation to testify to the existence of God (Psalm 19:1)
\n-Design demands a designer (Psalm 8:3)<\/p>\n

The Word of God
\n-The strength of manuscript support
\n-Confirmation of archeology
\n-Scientific accuracy of Scripture
\n-Fulfilled prophecies
\n-Jesus’ stamp of approval on the Scripture<\/p>\n

The Love and Goodness of God
\n-Consider the sacrifice (depth) of God’s love for you (Romans 5:8)<\/p>\n

“Don’t judge God by your circumstances, judge your circumstances by God.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The Involvement of God
\nAccording to Josh McDowell, Deism is “A firm belief in God, but a God who is not involved in the affairs of men.”<\/em>
\n-Remember God promised never to leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)
\n-Recall God’s faithfulness in past situations (I Samuel 17:33-37)
\n-Recall that nothing is too difficult for God (Mark 10:27)
\n-Know that God is in complete control (Romans 8:28)<\/p>\n

Exercise the Faith We Have
\n-Prayer: be open and honest with God about our doubts
\n-Ask for His help
