In a word, at their destiny. Few people get there on purpose.\u201d -Clayton King<\/p>\n<h3>The search for fulfillment alone should tell us that there is an actual fulfillment to be had.<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Scripture: John 10:10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abundantly \u2013 Life that never ends; yet this abundance can also be enjoyed now in this present life.<br \/>\nPeace, security, purpose for living, joy of facing any adversary (including the grave) without fear and the ability to endure hardship with confident assurance.<br \/>\n\u201cEternal life is given \u2013 Abundant life is granted\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>1. Surviving Life<\/h3>\n<p>A. Allow the past to control the future<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scars remind us of where we have been.<\/li>\n<li>They don\u2019t have to dictate where we are going<\/li>\n<li>According to James Rinehart \u2013 \u201cOur background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>B. Live in fear of the &#8220;what ifs&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faith is not about everything turning out okay; Faith is about being okay no matter how things turn out.<\/li>\n<li>The basis of faith is not knowing, but in trusting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>C. Live for the temporary and not the eternal<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cThe bigger game is the game of life \u2013 That\u2019s the important one to win.\u201d -Tammy Fitzgerald<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>D. Ignoring the Challenges<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not considering God\u2019s will over your own plans\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cWhen someone desires what God wants more than what they want, they position themselves to hear what God truly wants.\u201d Pastor Peyton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sin that needs to be dealt with\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Charles Stanley asks two thought provoking questions \u2013<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWhy would anyone who genuinely loves God want to live for the very sins that cost Jesus His life?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cHow could any believer glory in what God abhors?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Not doing those things that you know you need to be doing \u2013 James 4:17\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cTo him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Transiting to a Thriving Life<\/h3>\n<p>A. Understand that \u201cYour daily choices have consequences\u201d<\/p>\n<p>B. Pursue God\u2019s Ultimate Priority \u2013 Your Relationship with Christ<br \/>\n\u201cMake your ultimate goal your own personal relationship with Him\u201d -Oswald Chambers<\/p>\n<p>C. Follow God\u2019s calling for your life<br \/>\nBecome Christ-like \u2013 Romans 8:29; Galatians 5:22, 23<\/p>\n<p>D.
