Watch your tongue and tone<\/p>\n<p>2. Invest in the relationship &#8211;\u00a0Be honest and transparent<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Giving one another the freedom to express their<br \/>\nthoughts and feelings when they see inconsistency<br \/>\nin us (without defending ourselves)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Always restore<\/p>\n<p>4. Live with no regrets<\/p>\n<p>5. Consistently communicate love for one another (Regardless) &#8211;\u00a0People are impacted by what we communicate to them with our attitudes and actions<\/p>\n<p>6. Be considerate of one another \u2013 Philippians 2:3, 4<\/p>\n<p>7. Be concerned about their eternity<\/p>\n<h3>Specific Principles for Mothers:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The home marks a child for life.<\/li>\n<li>Howard Hendricks\n<ul>\n<li>Be consistent<br \/>\nA. In Discipline<br \/>\nB. In Testimony<\/li>\n<li>If we profess to believe God\u2019s Word but ignore<br \/>\nHis instructions, our children will be confused<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Ask God for wisdom when to intercede and when to allow<br \/>\nthem to reap the results of bad decisions<\/p>\n<h3>Specific Principles for Children:<\/h3>\n<p>1. Honor her by listening and evaluating what\u2019s being said \u2013 Proverbs 6:20-23; 23:22; 31:26a<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Old fashion<\/li>\n<li>Out of touch<\/li>\n<li>Not relevant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Be there \u2013 spend time with her<\/p>\n<p>3.
