We have to strengthen the home-front which is the local church and to strengthen the home-front we have to strengthen and challenge individual believers.<\/p>\n<h3>Strengthening the Home-front:<\/h3>\n<h4>1. Passionate about our personal relationship with Christ<\/h4>\n<p>This is driving force behind what we do!<\/p>\n<h4>2. Pursue personal holiness &#8211; 1\u00a0Peter 1:15, 16<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sin in the lives of believers \u2013 Example of Achan\u2019s sin (Joshua 7)<\/li>\n<li>Israel had sin in the camp which led to their defeat at Ai<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s commentary on sin in the church \u2013 See 1 Corinthians 5:1-7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>3. Keep our focus upon our purpose for existing as a local church<\/h4>\n<p><em>Corner Stone Baptist Church exists to glorify God <\/em><br \/>\n<em>by bringing people into a relationship with Him through <\/em><br \/>\n<em>the Lord Jesus Christ, to unite them with the local church, <\/em><br \/>\n<em>to develop them to Christ-like maturity, and to equip them <\/em><br \/>\n<em>for their ministry in the home, the church, and the world.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>4. Remain doctrinally sound and keep the Word of God a priority<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cFor the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine\u201d \u2013 2 Timothy 4:3<br \/>\nWe cannot compromise God\u2019s truth for a feel good, easy life, don\u2019t upset anyone Christianity<\/p>\n<h4>5. Extend outside of our personal comfort zones<\/h4>\n<p>Are you living a comfortable Christianity?<\/p>\n<h4>6. Evaluate our priorities in view of the following:<\/h4>\n<p>A. Men, women, boys and girls are dying every day and entering a Christless eternity \u2013 John 3:18<br \/>\nB. A life is a terrible thing to waste \u2013 Mark 5:1-20 (See verse 2 \u201ca man\u201d)<br \/>\nC. Our Lord\u2019s command \u2013 Matthew 28:18-20<br \/>\nD.
