Greetings to everyone in the Corner Stone Family, as well as friends and neighbors that may also be joining us through our website. During this brief period where we are not able to meet together physically, several volunteers have worked very hard to put together a virtual worship service. We hope this will be something that encourages you and your family during this time. For all the early risers we have, the service will premier on YouTube beginning at 6:00AM eastern time on Sunday, March 22, 2020. It will be available at any time after that as well, so please tune in at your convenience.
We continue to pray for one another, for our area, our state, our nation, and others around the world who are enduring hardship. We pray not only for physical healing, but for the Truth of Christ and His Gospel to shine more brightly than ever before during difficult days.
If our church can be of help to you or your family during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time.
As the concerns over the Coronavirus have increased, many churches, including Corner Stone, have decided to temporarily suspend meetings and move to an online platform. In response to this developing situation the LifeWay Kids team has created a free, temporary, at-home resource that will allow families to conduct weekly media-driven kids Bible studies at home: the LifeWay Kids at Home Digital Pass experience.
Within the Digital Pass experience, families can access weekly Activity Pages, a conversation guide and a series of videos to watch and discuss. Materials include a Bible Story video, Life Application video, a kids connection video, a missions video and gospel presentation resources. New sessions will be updated weekly at midnight on Thursday nights so that families can have fresh content every weekend. Access the LifeWay Kids at Home Digital Pass experience as needed any time over the next 12 weeks through the end of the Spring quarter.
To access the free LifeWay Kids at Home resources, please follow these steps:

This message was preached at Corner Stone on Sunday Morning March 15, 2020.
There are two weeks remaining to give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. Please consider supporting our missions offering between now and March 29th, and continue to pray for the evangelism efforts underway in North America.

Dear Corner Stone Family,
I am writing to give you an update about where we are as a church pertaining to services since our nation has been declared in a state of emergency due to COVID-19. At this point we will continue to gather as a body of believers at our regular scheduled times with a few changes.
Please refrain from hugs and handshakes at the church for now. With that in mind, we will be suspending the welcome/greeting time in our Sunday morning worship service.
Ushers will have collection plates at doors after the Sunday services.
Please place your tithes and offerings there on your way out of the sanctuary as we will not be passing the collections plates during the services.
We will not be having our children’s message in the morning service until further notice; However, all of our children’s classes will continue as normal.
If you or an immediate family member are ill, please do not feel guilty not attending services or events until you are better. We recommend that you stay home from church and events when you or your immediate family have any of the following (that are not allergy related):
If you are a high-risk individual (or live with a high-risk individual) or have concerns about potential exposure, please use your own judgment about attending services or events. We do understand! If you would like a DVD of the service, please let us know! Sermons can also be found at https://youtube.csbcva.org.
If you or someone in your home is diagnosed with COVID-19, please let me or our deacons know so that we can support and care for you and your family.
With my love and because of Him,
Pastor Peyton
